Hand Built Industrial Style Vintage Lantern
Table Lamp
Description
Beautiful, newly hand constructed industrial style table lamp. The lamp features an original antique lantern made by Keystone Lantern Co. (called "The Casey") for the Pennsylvania Railroad. This lantern's extended glass globe is embossed PRR. There are markings on the top, although they are hard to read as age has worn most of the writing down. I believe the lantern is from 1902. More information can easily be found online.
I think the top was originally copper or brass, as the patina is now a lovely verdigris and rust. The body was most probably bright yellow, and that color has also aged and rusted, creating a beautiful, rustic finish. The wooden base is hand painted to mimic a rust finish, and embelished with a jute braided rope. It is completed with a beige burlap shade and a vintage brass finial. The lantern is fixed to the base with a couple of hooks, and would be easily removable, if that was desired. Truely one of a kind! 25 1/2"h x 15"w

Hand Built Vintage Toaster Table Lamp
Description
Beautiful vintage deco chrome toaster! This is what Grandma, and her mom probably used to toast their homemade bread. Back and front panels flip down, and the bread is inserted and toasted with coils. No pop up! This is an original 1920's toaster in excellent condition. The heart shaped finial is also vintage deco chrome. The base is basic high gloss black, and the feet are decorative silver beads. It is topped with a rectangular white shade (perfect for against the wall applications) and of course the perfect finial. Very charming! 23 1/2h x 12"d x 15"w

Hand Built Vintage Transister Radio
Description
I love this radio! This portable gem is from the 1950's, when the kids on the beach were rockin' and rollin' to Little Richard, Bill Haley and of course Elvis. The plastic exterior is actually Bakelite, a very popular plastic from the 20's through the 50's. It has a beautiful marbled design, and sparkly chrome accents. The base is hand painted to mimic the Bakelite, and trimmed in silver. The new white shade is pleated which was the style back then. It is topped off with a new hand painted contemporary wood finial. This lamp takes a smaller size bulb, which I believe can be found at 40 watts. Everybody loves this radio! If you're looking for a unique conversation piece, this one is a guarantee!

Hand Built Vintage Lunch Pail Lamp
Description
Lunch anyone? This lamp features a vintage metal lunch pail from the early 1900's. Notice the drinking cup at the top. It was manufactured by National, and I think it is made of tin(?). It has a beautiful patina (which I helped along with a magic solution) with lovely shades of brown, gold and copper. The base is hand painted in a bronze finish, and trimmed in black. It is topped with a vintage off white shade and finished with a big and bold brown wood finial. This lamp is a perfect marriage of industrial, contemporary and classic. Very cool!

Hand Built Vintage Planter Lamp
Description
Welcome to the jungle! Is this the cutest planter you have ever seen? MaMa giraffe and her baby. This piece screams fun 50's! It's very hard to find such a great piece from that era. Adorable in a childs room, man cave, even the kitchen. Beautiful, vibrant colors and great detail make this a true one of a kind ceramic piece. I have included jungle appropriate faux greenery for that authetic touch. The base is cut wood with the bark still intact. It is topped with a lovely new dark taupe silk shade, and finished with a shiny brass acorn finial. Uses a 40-60 small size bulb. Vintage at it's best!

YES, deco! I could not pass this one up. She was all dirty and dusty, hanging out on a top shelf at the local antique shop, just crying out for a do over. After a bit of elbow grease, sanding and cleaning, her true self just came shining through. The wooden body (rosewood?) and base feature a graceful flower or leaf design which was originally plated in chrome. Due to age some of the chrome has worn away and the brass underneath comes through. (check out the photos). It sits on a hand finished antiqued black base, topped with a new white oval shade, and topped with a new chrome deco style finial. Takes a small size 40-60w bulb. This little cutie would be beautiful in any decor!

Hand Built Vintage Jeep Lamp
Description
Vintage 1960's teal Jeep made by Tonka. I thought this would be great in a man cave, or little boy's room, but then I realized it would really be appropriate for anyone in any room. You could probably find a nice newer looking one, but I love the rusty, crusty patina only age can produce. The Jeep is not permanently adhered to the base, and can be taken off easily by taking out a nail in the rear, and releasing it from the hook underneath the front wheels. The front end moves slightly to the left and right, but of course will remain centered when stationary. The base is hand painted in a ivory finish with teal peeking through on a crackled finish. The shade is hand finished in a textured finish in ivory and teal, and trimmed with a teal gimp. It is topped with a ball finial hand finished in a teal and ivory crackle finish. A fun piece for any Jeep lover!

Hand Built Vintage Oil Cans Lamp
Description
So UNIQUE. Not many can share my vision, but I saw something in these 3 vintage cans that was actually arty. I love the color, patina and shapes of each can, I thought that they had a sculptural feel when grouped together. I sort of pictured this lamp on the desk of the CEO of Chevron. Yeah, I think big :0). I have hand painted the base in a stainless steel finish. It is topped with a new shade and a vintage silver finial. Purely industrial, beautifully sculptural!

Hand Built Vintage Metal Hemp Box Lamp
Description
1990 's metal box from The Body shop. Originally meant to hold hemp body products. The front sports an embossed hemp leaf and the words Hemp Revival. I'm guessing the box, once empty would be used as a lunch box or for storage. I have "antiqued" the finish to make it appear old, but it is in excellent condition. You can actually keep your private stash safe with a small lock (not included) that may be attached to the latch. The base is hand painted in a distressed wood finish. It is topped with a new light beige shade and a new finial. This is a fun piece guaranteed to bring smiles and giggles!

Hand Built Vintage Pink Poodle Lamp
Description
Is this the most adorable lamp or what!? This little girl has the sassiest look you've ever seen on a ceramic pink poodle. Roaring out of the 1950's, I'll bet Liz Taylor had one on her vanity! She is the palest of peach/pink and her fur is done in the characteristic "spaghetti " style popular in the 50's. Her collar, hat and fur are accented in beautiful sparkly gold. The shade is a vintage bell in a pale beige check and floral damask with hanging plastic beads, topped with a cut crystal ball finial. I thought the shade might be a bit over the top for this lamp when I first spotted it, but it actually looks like it was made for it. There is one string of beads missing, as I show in the picture, but put that side to the back and it is not noticable at all. It's hard to find perfection when it comes to vintage, but since this shade was the perfect match for the lamp, I just had to use it. The base is hand painted pink and trimmed in gold . What little girl who loves pink and puppies wouldn't love this lamp?
